Shadyside Inn Rescues
Shadyside Inn saved its 2,000th animal today! On May 5th of this year we excitedly told you we had finally, after 3 years, rescued our 1,000th animal. 6 months later and we are here to tell you we’ve saved another 1,000. This is all due to our charity the Pittsburgh Aviation Animal Rescue Team (PAART). Lynda Manko and Laura Fruehan completed a 36 hour mission to rescue 38 animals in our first “landplane” mission. Instead of becoming another sad statistic, the rescued animals are on their way to a new life at North Shore Animal League America where they will get a chance at a “fur”ever home. Shadyside Inn is proud to be a pet friendly apartment and a founding partner of the Pittsburgh Aviation Animal Rescue Team charity. We encourage guests to get involved in helping animals who need a second chance. For more information on our charity visit Pittsburgh Aviation Animal Rescue Team.
